The Springfield Little League (SLL) Board of Directors is an all-volunteer group of officers. They govern the organization and oversee day-to-day operations of the entire league.

Umpire-In-Chief

The Umpire-in-Chief’s (UIC’s) are responsible for the coordination and assignment of umpires for games. The UIC’s are responsible for assigning managers and coaches to ump games to fulfill their volunteer umpiring requirement as managers and coaches. The UIC’s are responsible for maintaining a detailed assignment sheet of umpires. The UIC’s provide umpire training, and scorekeeper training.

Managers

Managers are additional key voluntary positions at Springfield Little League. Managers are non board positions who are crucial to keeping our organization thriving. They oversee various aspects of the league from concessions, marketing, social media, events and anything in between.

Player Agents

Player Agents (formerly known as Commissioners) are comprised of lead volunteer coaches per division. Player Agents help oversee the various teams in each division. They are responsible for various divisional duties; including but not limited to conducting team drafts, managing supplies and equipment, field cleanup and preparation, etc.
